Favorite John Waters movie?

I’ve made every man I’ve ever dated watch his films. He’s a huge inspiration for what I do. I think Female Trouble always sticks out to me because it’s right in that sweet spot period between Pink Flamingos and Desperate Living . You start to see the hair and styling and other reoccurring concepts that lead to bigger cross over hits like Hairspray and Crybaby or his more mainstream work like Cecil B Demented or Serial Mom. What I love the most about John is he is an artist who has had a dream career where he was able to start something with friends and no money but as he grew in prominence he never lost what made his low budget work incredible. It’s all so authentic to his point of view. I think few queer artists can say that.

Which actress would play you in a movie about your life?

Kristen Stewart but in full prosthetics! Only she could really capture my completely neurotic behavior.

What’s your damage, Heather?

Don’t blame me, blame Heather! One of my all time favorite films. My dream role is JD in a reboot or in the musical.

I like briefs.  I don’t care if the sperm count thing is true. I’ll never have kids.
